CIRCUS CLUB IN FIFTH YEAR
The Ansar Circus Club was started in 2000. The original objective was to
solicit contributions from members who could not work or attend the circus.
The Circus Club allowed everyone to participate in the Ansar Circus. Those
members who contributed $100.00 or more were given a marble and gold
paperweight as participants of the Century Club. Those members who
contributed between $50.00 - $99.00 were given a marble and silver
paperweight as participants of the Ringmasters Club. The Sponsors Club and
the Donors Club were established for member who donated $25.00 -
$49.00 and less than $25.00 respectfully. A total of 786 individuals, Clubs
and Units have participated the Circus Club donating a total of $67,227.00
during the past five years. Circus Club Members are listed every year on
Gold Pages in the Circus Coloring Book, as well as ANSARS.
The original objective of the club has not changed but now many additional
Nobles and Ladies, as well as Shrine Clubs and Units are contributing to the
Circus Club as a general fundraiser for Ansar. I would like to personally
thank everyone who has donated to the Circus Club. Your generosity has
helped Ansar remain financially strong during some difficult times. I would
also like to recognize those individual who are charter members of the Circus
Club and have shown their support for the past five years:
