Chartered in 1988
Membership: 40
Primary membership location:
Central Illinois area

Ansar Shrine's Classic Cars was chartered in 1988.  It has a membership of
about 40 with primary membership located in Decatur, Springfield, and
Central Illinois area.

Classic Car Nobles own antique cars (over 25 years old), which have been
kept in, or restored to, their original condition or modified as a special
interest vehicle. They participate in parades and car shows to bring attention

They meet the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Ansar Center at 601
S Sixth Street in Springfield at 7:00 PM.  Meetings are normally spent
discussing and planning their car show (see below) or planning participation
in parades.
This Year The Car Show Was Held June 2 At Lincoln Park.

We had an excellent turnout – 102 registered show cars and an estimated 500
car owners and spectators.  We believe this great considering there were at least
two other car shows scheduled in the Central Illinois area at the same time.
Everyone had a good time and expressed interest in another show next year.
