Membership: 18 – Limited to 30
Primary membership location:  Springfield, IL area

The Color Guard “
leads the way” in presenting an impressive display of colors
at Shrine parades, civic parades and other functions. They also perform at
each circus performance and the fezzing ceremony at Ceremonials.

They meet the first Monday of each month at the Ansar Center at 601 S Sixth
Street in Springfield at 7:00 PM.  Meetings are normally spent discussing and
planning participation in parades and other ceremonies.

Chambers (on the left side of the Old State House) is where Abe
Lincoln delivered is his famous
"House Divided" speech on June
