| CHRISTMAS IN JULY - JULY 18th, 2008 SPRINGFIELD MOTOR BOAT CLUB The Legion of Honor Will Be holding it’s annual Christmas In July Party on Friday Evening July 18th at the Springfield Motor Boat Club Social Hour will be from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Buffet Dinner will be Served at 7:00 P.M. Now is the Time to help the Kids At Saint Louis Shriners Hospital by bringing presents of the items listed below. This is a Family Event Please Bring your Sons, Daughters, Grandchildren, or Friends Dinner and Entertainments Will be Provided $25.00 Per Person (Children $12.50) Phone Reservations to the Shrine Center Office 217-525-1771 or to Dennie Miller at 217-793-8707 by July 15th Just a reminder of what might be best for the kids - in all sizes, sweat pants and tops (solid colors) Boys need briefs, white t-shirts, and white tube socks. Girls need panties, white t-shirts, and sleeping shirts again in all sizes. Quilts - size 60” x 90”, white standard pillow cases, white bath towels and wash cloths. Adult size baseball caps with team logos and cartoon characters, shorts in any color and all sizes, halter tops, dresses in size 2 - 14, adolescent items - bath and body sets, cassette tapes or Cd’s, model kits with the glue, stationary and tote or sports bags.
