The Rasna Shrine Club Monthly meeting was Tuesday, April 8, 2008 @ Lone Oak Golf Course in Carrollton. The social started @
6pm with Steak and Shrimp Dinner to follow @ 7pm. All enjoyed the steak, shrimp, baked potato and salad. The meeting opened
after dinner with invocation by Vice President Tollie Evans. The pledge was lead by President Ted Hawk. There was no
secretary's report because Secretary Jim Twyford has health issues. He needs our prayers for a quick recovery. Treasurer Roger
Greenwood reported that the Ham and Bean Dinner at Woodson last month came out on the "plus side". OLD BUSINESS: Chuck
McEvers, Public Relations Chairman, said that the committee is meeting and working out the details for the summer Cook Off.
The meeting next month @ the Red Dome in Pittsfield is a dual meeting. It was reported that they would introduce officers and
then everyone would enjoy prime rib. NEW BUSINESS: A motion was made to reestablish a $2 fine for all those who do not bring
and wear their fez. Motion was discussed and passed. May take off fez when the senior officer at the meeting takes off his fez.
Ambassador Bill McCartney reported and brought greetings from the Illustrious Potentate Myron Mendenhall. He pass out pins
and/or calendar books to those who did not have one. He announced several meetings, in the area, to attend. Mentioned that the
Ansar website has links to all clubs and units. He introduced Robert Wood who is Secretary of the Pike Co. Shrine Club. He
introduced Assistant Raban Jack Teeters who gave a greeting to all. He introduced the Chief Raban Marc Wilson who gave a
report. There are new and positive improvements to come over the next three or four years because the officers are working in
concert to improve the organization. There is a 6-10 day trip to Wales planned for next year. Chief Raban stated that he would
attend as many meetings in area as he can. Darrell Mansfield called for a Tin Lizzy meeting to follow the Rasna meeting and
