Ansar Shrine Retirees are looking for retired Ansar members to come and join their club. The Retirees meet each Wednesday at the temple for a time of fun, camaraderie, and simple discussions of whatever comes to mind. The meetings include a program each day, whether by a guest speaker, taped message or a DVD. Meetings begin at 10:30 am and usually end around 11:45 am. Lunch is offered during this time at a cost of only $3.00. Some members arrive an hour or more early to play pinochle or for other activities. So, if you are retired and would like to come and join the group, please do so. The first lunch is complimentary and the dress is always casual!
There is a new public relations disc available at the temple office for any club or unit that would like to show it at one of their meetings. The title of it is "A Tale of Two Patients" and was just released at the Imperial Session held in Denver in July.
